Sayyidatuna Aisha رضي الله عنها reported:

Some of the wives of the Messenger of Allah صلى الله عليه وسلم said to him, “Which of us will be the quickest to meet you (who will pass away first after your demise)?”

The Messenger of Allah صلى الله عليه وسلم said, “The one with the longest hand.”

They measured their hands with sticks and Sawdah رضي الله عنها had the longest of them, yet Zaynab رضي الله عنها was the first to pass away.

Then, we knew that the length of her hand meant her charity. She was the quickest to meet him and she loved to give charity.

Weekly Hadith

Ibn Mas`ud RA reported: The Prophet ﷺ said, "Jannah is nearer to anyone
of you than your shoe-lace, and so is the (Hell) Fire".

Going to Jannah or Jahannam is the result of one's own actions, both are close to everyone. One will be
admitted into Jannah if he does good deeds, and will be consigned to Jahannam if he does evil. After death, one's
entitlement for Jannah or Jahannam will be decided.

Weekly Fiqh

If blood or pus from a pimple stains the clothing, will the clothing be regarded as pure or impure?

If the blood or pus was so little that it would not have flowed outside of the pimple, then the clothing will be pure. However, it would be best to wash the stain off.

Weekly Q & A

Q. If a group of people are travelling together, is it still necessary for them to perform Salaah in congregation?

(Question published as received)

A) If a person or a group of people are travelling (Musaafir) together, the compulsion (Wujoob) to perform Salaah in congregation does not fall away. It still remains compulsory to perform Salaah in congregation wherever possible. (Badaai’ 1/153)

Weekly Tafsir

By constantly making mention of Towheed, all aspects of it are discussed and its antithesis (Shirk)
is refuted from all angles. This is necessary because the Mushrikeen, Jews and Christians were
involved in the following three types of Shirk:

•Considering the Angels, Saints and Idols as beings who possessed knowledge of the unseen,
they called on them for assistance in their difficulties.
•They used to take oaths and make sacrifices in the names of their Gods and even erected altars
where these would be offered. They believed that by making these offerings, their gods
would be pleased with them. In this way, they thought that they would be blessed with
wealth and children, and that these gods would draw blessings from Allaah.
•They believed that the gods and saints that they worshipped are so loved by Allaah that He
would never reject their intercession or their pleas on behalf of those who worshipped them.
